Yes, rabbits can eat spinach, but only in small amounts and not daily. Spinach is rich in vitamins and minerals, but also contains oxalates which can lead to kidney issues if overfed.


✅ Benefits:

  • High in vitamin A and K

  • Provides fibre for digestion

  • Good for variety in their leafy greens


⚠️ Risks:

  • Contains oxalates, which may contribute to bladder sludge or kidney stones

  • Can cause soft stools if given too often


🥄 How Much to Feed:

  • A small handful (about 1–2 leaves), 1–2 times per week

  • Mix with other low-oxalate greens to balance the diet

  • Feeding daily

  • Giving to rabbits with a history of urinary issues
